The first tour stop is in a fine Salumificio in Quinzano di Sotto, where a guided tour will take place to explain the various production steps and will end with a tasting of DOP Parma Ham accompanied by a wine of their own brand.
From there, over the hill that towers above Langhirano, is possible to see all Parma and the castle of Torrechiara which dominates the landscape.
And we will visit, indeed, the castle of Torrechiara and then eat a first course of fresh pasta in the local tavern.
Then, in Langhirano, we will have the opportunity to continue the ham tasting and many niche products always belonging to the world of cold cuts such as: strolghino, culaccia, culatello, coppa, fiocco, and Salame di Felino together with Lambrusco and Malvasia.
Finally, always in the same place, a typical dessert of the town.
From there we will return to the initial meeting point, where the tour will end.
If you prefer to live your experience exclusively or only with your travel partners, there is the possibility to make your tour private!
If you do not want other travelers to join the tour until you reach the maximum capacity of 9 people and you would be more comfortable sharing it only with your family, your friends or your partner making it a super exclusive journey. During the payment phase you will be asked if you want to make the PRIVATE tour, with a price supplement of 200€.

It may be possible to perform the tours in Spanish, but only if previously asked and at least 4 days before.
Our “local food guide” is Valerio: he is a young and enterprising man who knows Emilia inside out, like his home, because it is his home. He traveled all over the world to better understand and learn the secrets of cooking.
His passion and knowledge are the perfect mix to introduce you to every culinary detail and every perfect match.
Yes, there are tours for guests who cannot ingest gluten, but we cannot assure cross-contamination. A notification sent previously to our administration at info@eatin-parma.it is well accepted since it can provide us more time to organize and ask to the restaurants to pay maximum attention when they prepare our food.
For our tours, with the exception of “What The Great Musicians Ate”, sports or elegant clothing is not necessary. However we recommend comfortable clothing – better to avoid heels or uncomfortable shoes and suits… these tours are made for walking!
Unfortunately, Italy is not at the forefront in removing architectural barriers, so we cannot assure to overcome them all as they are present in almost every step of our tours. We are very sorry for this.
